The wife and I went last night....
We were astonished at the mans energy! 3 hours of rockin'....lifting guitars up, joking....I hope I have just a little bit of that energy when I'M 63! (I just hope I MAKE it to 63).
One of my favorite moments was close to the beginning when Paul was talking between songs and mentioned George.....everyone cheered HARD and Paul said "well, now would be a good time for this" and said "why don't we take this time to thank a couple of our dear departed friends"....there was a THUNDEROUS ovation that gave me goosebumps...then we sang happy birthday to John...very touching.
The music was spot on and I was close enough that I didn't notice Paul messing up the lyrics. He DID take a little speaking break and mentioned about all the signs people would hold up with various messages....mentioning that sometimes when he'd read them and would find it hard to concentrate on the lyrics or music while trying to read them.... and laughed about it...hahaha....imagine, trying to do THREE things at the same time...lol!
Of all the songs he sang in those three hours, my personal favorites had to be Let Me Roll It and Live and Let Die(with the pyrotechnics) among others....
Anybody else from the forum there last night?

Chris, I agree it was a wonderful show! I traveled from VA Beach, VA with my 8 year old son so he could see one of the Beatles. He is very into their music but always questions if they really are as good as they seem on their recordings. He loves watching all the old video clips but can't quite relate to an actual live performance. Last night just blew him / us away! I agree whole heartedly, it is amazing that Macca is 63 (looks late 40's) and still able to perform at an unbelievable high energy & skill level. His vocals were spot on with only a couple of minor rough notes. Seeing him live makes me appreciate his versatility (still blows me away) even after all these years of following his career. His ability to capture an audience is still second to none. He seems as if he were the guy next door or an old friend when he is addressing the audience, it's almost like he's speaking directly to you. Just an incredible experience. I'm so glad I took my son, so he could see a true music legend at work. Considering Macca's age I'm not sure how long he will continue to tour, but if his future tour performances are anything like last night it is a must see! Thumbs up Macca, Fantastic show!
It is what it is!
