Or just a re-issue of horsehoes? In another thread There's at least 5 buyers. I'd have three in a second!

A 1993 re-issue would be a gorgeous thing, but I wonder if the 360/12c63 doesn't already have that market cornered? Of course, Peter already owns a prototype! I'd be quite happy just to see the return (if only for 12 months) of the 1997.

I was also thinking that those limited Japanese 360's and 370/12's might be good candidates. What were they called again? 360v68 and 370/12v69 or something like that? Limited finish options (Fireglo and Mapleglo respectively), but with checkerboard binding and 21 frets.

Which reminds me:

Can we safely say that the 75th Special (whatever it is) will NOT have checkered binding?

We wait with 'bated breath.

Considering the number of times that John Hall has mentioned the expense and time consumption of this step of trimming, I am quite in earnest when I bring up my own doubts.

It's important to be Earnest, Paul

I'm on board with this time saving initiative

If there is a 75th anniversary model, my guess is it won't have binding of ANY kind.

There. I got what I wanted. I just hope we're not seeing frying pans.

I think Mr. Hall is enjoying this! He knows we're all hanging on every word! Image

I am curious, but can't even hazard a guess....
