The boys are eating healthy, right, Melissa? You have managed to do all the domestic stuff necessary to keep them fed and clothed? Then let the obsessions have sway! Full speed ahead!
“I say in speeches that a plausible mission of artists is to make people appreciate being alive at least a little bit. I am then asked if I know of any artists who pulled that off. I reply, 'The Beatles did.”

Right....I can consider this a binge, but next week the "diet" has to start--but that will have its own sweet rewards!
It IS possible to have your cake and eat it, too, right, Paul? I know I'm being a bit cryptic, but I'm alluding to a color mentioned in another thread.... You may have to save that turquoise paint for yourself (or rather, for your next 325, LOL!) after all, if you can magically transform my slant-fret into a one of a kind....

The Ric Owner's Prayer:
1. We admitted we were powerless over our Rickenbackers - that our guitar rooms had become unmanageable
2. Came to believe that a Luthier greater than ourselves could restore us to sanity
3. Made a decision to turn our will and our lives over to the care of John Hall
4. Made a searching and fearless inventory of our gig bags
5. Admitted to John Hall, to ourselves and to our credit card companies the exact nature of our pickup winding preferences
6. Were entirely ready to have Ben Hall remove all these defects of binding
7. Humbly asked UPS to deliver our new orders
8. Made a list of all persons who had more Rics than ourselves, and became willing to swap guitar stories with them all
9. Made direct deposits to such guitar stores wherever possible, except when to do so would result in a wait of more than 18 months
10. Continued to take personal guitar inventory and when we miscounted promptly searched eBay for the missing guitars (mostly 360Fs)
11. Sought through posting and MP3 file-swapping to improve our conscious contact with Rics as we understood Rics, praying only for an increase in production and John Hall's ability to carry that out
12. Having had a musical awakening as the result of these steps, we tried to carry the Ric message to other guitar owners, and to practice our pentatonic scales at all hours of the night

So Gary, of all the Rics in your vast collection, what one is your absolute favorite? Give all the details here about its personality! (That was how this thread got started, right?)
I think that maybe your collection is second only to John Hall's....
