This is my 1000th post and I would like to take the time to thank everyone on this forum who have graciously put up with me and the comments, thoughts, attempts at humour etc contained in my previous 999 posts.

I have truly enjoyed the privilege of being a member of this forum and I thank each and everyone of you for making my time here very enjoyable.

Congratulations, Brian! I've enjoyed them all, especially your posts in the 'Clough's Classics' section - very educational for me!

Congratulations on this accomplishment, Brian. Quite a feather in the ole' cap, I would say. I don't think I have it in me, personally, but think about it, did Babe Ruth believe he could hit 714 home runs?
