I guess he's bought one too many basses recently!

that is a clone of the one I just converted 4-2-5 for Paul Alvarez ... I want to get one of them some day and convert it for myself to a 5 string bass and put black hardware on it ... but I don't have $1400 right now ...

I'd get it if it had "the other" pickup placement.

I never play it and its not vintage,so its sort of just sitting around,Ive got too many I don't play.I'm going to make room for some vintage stuff Ive got coming in.
The only vintage bass I might sell is the 72 mapleglo but every time I think I might put it up,I cant do it,its got so much going for it, it plays great, sounds great, looks great and has the slimmest neck of any Ric. Ive seen,It must have been an employees bass, the figured wood, super slim neck, smaller then a jazz bass at the nut.

Ken - you live in Cockeyeville? I lived in Mt. Washington for many years...about 12 - 13 miles from you...until I moved to Malibu. Nice 4004cii, BTW.
