This site also repeats that Lennon stand-in thing. Which doesn't make it true, but still...

YIPES!!!! here's yet another John Lennon "body-double" thing. It is true that in some of the cuts from that scene you see only 3 of the 4 Beatles (I have read about this before), but he "body double" idea is (IMHO) a freekin farse, and the FACT that some of that scene is missing a Beatle proves it... does it not?

I dont believe it, but here it is:

"In the scene of A HARD DAY'S NIGHT (1964) where the Beatles are running and playing in the field, Lennon was not there. He was away promoting his new book John Lennon: In His Own Write. A body double filled in for John, and close-up shots of John were edited into the scene later."
