Bob, that 3001 looks great. I did the frets, side dots, peg head, top nut, position dots, and glued up most every piece of wood on that model during 74 and 75. I thought that was a great Bass
for the mid 70's. Your 4002 sure looks good, that Maple is outrageous and by far the best I've ever seen.
