Wanted

Post by henny »

I'll forego the Wanted forum and cut it to you lot.

I'm after:

1.) Treble pickup cover (4003, 70s 4001) in any condition.

2.) A toaster

Anybody help me out? As I sure as hell aren't paying 27 quid for the cover from eBay/Rosetti!

ta!

The covers are only $15 US from RIC. I have one from my '76 4000 FG, but I'd rather not part with it, though.

Ah, sure... I wouldn't take original vintage parts from a complete bass anyway, I'm on about real spares, here.

Oddly, my 4080 is missing the cover from the bridge pup. My 4001 as well, but it wasn't cared for nearly as well as the other 2. It seems that, like Tele ashtrays, the pup covers always get lost.

Kevin, FYI, the 4080 bridge P.U. cover was made just for the 4080. The 4001 cover does not fit.

Trust me, I tried.
