And make sure you have plenty of pix to whip out at the appropriate spot in the discussions! Like, say, a certain 4005JG!

I love it when you post pics of that thing Jeffrey. It's beautiful! And I will keep it.. just gotta get new tuners and a hipshot bridge on it and it'll be as good as new!

Wow, that Sabre looks awesome. I say go for it! It's like a Stingray, but versatile! And even better looking.

Sabre is awesome... but thats a 5 speed. Not as kool and great as the orginal ones... but still kind of kool. See the thing is tho... Tonight i played an orginal Sabre tonight... and i played a 70s 4001 ric.... Guess which wone was in my hands the for the rest of the night Image . The 5 speed thing loses its bass boost and faser or whatever you call that other switch. ITs just like 5 different pickup combinations...
Still may go for it... im not sure yet... Im never sure. CAnt make up my mind.

Get a Ric! You won't regret it. You love 'em already, so just get one. I thought about selling my bass several times, but my mind changed. So get a Ric and keep it. You know you'll love it.

Here's me with my 4001. (God, I wish my hair would stay like that!)

Like mine? Hehe. Or does the white binding and chrome bother you. If not just get a normal jetglo and replace the guard and trade in the TRC to Ric and get a black one in return. I spray painted mine.. but I'm gonna trade it fer a real one when I get back to the states.

Well I'd say look for a nice Fireglo or Burg or something. Dunno what else to say. If you give me something to work with i might be able to help you.. heh.
