480 and 330

So I am sitting at a local watering hole having an after work Newcastle with a local musician pal of mine. I'm telling him of the Shadow that I plan on looking at this weekend and he tells me he's got 2 older RICs. He's a got a 480 JG (missing the pickguard) and a '64 or '66 330 MG, both that he picked up in 84 for next to nothing. I was a bit stunned. I am hoping to go by and look at them soon, just to look as they are not for sale.

I told him I'd track down a pickguard for the 480 and it seems Pickguardian makes 'em.

This guy sang the praises of both guitars.
