It's a doubleneck case! Must be for the 6 & 12 string models. The storage compartment ends at the end of the case. Mine (for a 4080)ends a few inches short of the case.
Plus five minus five!

I don't think this could be a double neck case,It's only 14 inches wide.

Sorry, couldn't make much out of the measurements given. Looks wider in the pics. The 4080's case is 20 1/2" X 47", but the length is because of the bass.

You're right. It's only got one spot to support a neck.
