The Beatles Tribute Band Audition
I am going to have an audition next monday with this band as bassist. What do you think about them?

I watched the videos... yes I'd agree with Alan that the vocals are a little weak, but otherwise a nice band! It's gotta be hard to be a Beatles tribute band because (assuming you are trying to sound like the original) you will almost always fall somewhat short. The audience is listening to you but is also playing the original record in their head and whatever you do on stage it will be very hard to measure up. (a couple of the top notch Beatles bands do a great job of recreating the "sound"... "1964 the Tribute" formerly "1964 as the Beatles" is one of them).
Anyways, I think I liked 'One After 909' the best. We also do that one but style it after the early (faster) 1962 Beatles version.
Francesco.... a great Paul-like singing voice would help the Magical Mystery Band a lot. You wouldn't happen to have that, would you? If so, could I interest you in moving to Hawaii and joining my band?

Francesco... its a DEAL!
We aren't playing stadiums but you'll have fun anyways. Tomorrow night we play at a Irish bar in Waikiki which is one of the better gigs around here since its always packed on a Sat night. Let us know how the audition with the new band goes.

I passed the audition
The schedule was to play five songs: And I love her, I saw her standing there, You can't do that, All my loving, Nowhere man.
Afterwards we kept jamming for three hours....they were very surprised to notice that I know every song note by note...they said I am like a juke box...just select the song you wanna listen to
The rhythm guitarist has a gorgeous 325V58, with kauffman vibrola and 63 vintage style knobs. I had never played a 325 before and I did not know the fretboard is natural with no finish
