Any word on when the remastered Vapor Trails will be released then? I really wanna hear what it sounds like when it's not distorting like crazy.

Robert, It's been delayed for over a year, it was due when the re-masters of Test for Echo and Counterparts came out. Rumour has it that the record company will push it out sometime in 2006 when the new album is done, I think they want to hide the embarrassment of it being remastered so soon when a new release is due.

I never appreciated VT until I heard Earthshine and several other songs live, I listened to the CD and the mix was SO BAD in comparison...even Rush in Rio sounds WAY better with the new material.

Yeah . . . it really is a huge pity . . . there are AMAZING songs underneath the fuzz . . . I really really really wanna hear "Freeze" and "Secret Touch" remastered; those two are in my top ten favorite Rush songs!

It's kind of ironic (in the way of all things) that a band named 'Rush' committed the sin of hurrying a badly mastered album into release...

We have a furniture mogul here in Denver named Jake 'Jabs' who can't speak to the camera in his tv ads without constantly stabbing the air with his index finger to emphasize how great his deals are. Beware of living up to your name too much...

Bad sound or not, I'm just happy they bothered making another album. I'm sure the remaster will redeem that album for me.

Feedback sounds WAY better, but it's like 30 minutes long.. what a ripoff. I hope their next album is just as free as Feedback was. Just have a jam section in the middle of the songs or something. That would be great.
