White 4003 at good BIN for UK buyer

Post by bob_atherton »

White Ricks are not my bag, but this BIN would make a great deal for a UK buyer.

The seller mentions that the silver cap fell off that knob.

Re Rickenbacker knobs...(current)

I presume a third-party company produces them?

Ones very similar, (or the same), I've noticed on the Minimoog and other instruments.

There is at least one source other than RIC who sells Rick knobs, both current & vintage repros. Parts is Parts. I lost the link, though. He also rewinds F... pups on Leo F's old handwinding rig. John Sprung is his name & he's based in the US.

There are also cheapo knobs that look similar. Some dufus had put them on my 4001 after he lost the treble pup, killed the bass pup, & removed the stereo wiringImage
