He was run out of radio for making a remark in extremely poor taste about a black man who was dragged and killed by a car.

I didn't think he was funny anyway.

He was still on a local station up till last year but they changed their format and no longer carry his show.

I got tired of his humor a long time ago....

A guy I used to play with in NY was from the DC area and knew the Grease Man. I never heard his show, from what I understood it was a poor immitation of Howard Stern; if you happen to like Stern. If you think Stern blows chunks, then you'd probably not like Greasy...

But of course this is all speculation.

Actually,I was informed by a friend Grease is back in DC.

As far as Stern goes everytime I watch his show its
"come on baby show us your t--s" "oh what a hot body you have"...

He sounds like some major pervert, like Bill Murry in Caddy Shack .

It just gets old ,whats funny about that? night after night after night......

I personally have not gotten much into talk radio, even if it has profane comments and jokes. For that kind of humor, I'd much rather listen to that stuff to music, such as John Valby is concerned.

That's his "E" TV show......and I agree that there is too much of the repetitive stripper junk on there. His radio show has more going for it than that.......there is still some stripper type stuff going on but usually it is a pretty small segment on a show. He gets carried away now and then on some topics and beats them to death but so does everyone that I actually know (just human nature I guess). He has a wide range of guests available, does good interviews and the other people on the show lend some great entertainment value.
I can certainly see why some people don't like him but more times than not I get plenty of good laughs while he's on.....certainly WAY better than anything else Cleveland area radio has to offer.

You can't go by Stern's E show. It really is alot of the same repetitive stuff. The E show is cool if he has a really good guest on...he's had Yes, Jethro Tull and a lot of other great bands on.
Stern does great interviews. My favorite segments of the Stern show would be when they are breaking each others chops (show members) and when they are doing the news.

Andy, O&A are even better now on XM...yeah...WOW! LOL
