Mark what kind of strings you got on your guitars?
I'd love to try a Rickenbacker w/ humbuckers for blues.

Congratulations, Mark - nice to hear back from you and I'm so glad that you're happy with it! I bought a new 650D myself a couple of weeks ago and it's a ripper!

I like to put it on a stand and just stare........ Image

I am currently using the Ric 10s that came on it...I played it on 4 songs this AM at church during our praise time and man, does this thing honk!
I will try different brands of strings till I find the "right" ones. I'm thinking DR Blues as they're pure nickel but we'll see.

Thanks Howard...see the thread I just started for the story of how I finally got this beauty.

I use D'Addario XLs on mine - I forget the number, but they are .010-.046. They sound great! Might be a little heavy in the bottom end if you play with a pick, but I don't Image

Nothing like some honkin' prayer to get The Lord to sit up and take notice!
