Yes thanks Brian. Sheena: Sorry you have a fever. Art Garfunkel has composed material so I dismissed him as a potential candidate. Off the top of my head, Bright Eyes being one of them.

Bright Eyes,Peter, was performed by Art Garfunkel but written by Mike Batt, he of Wombles fame.

Roy: I guess I would argue that we are both right here. I have always thought that Garfunkel wrote the lyrics. Did Batt write the music and the lyrics?

Peter: he did compose some material, that's true, but he wasn't known for good songwriting.

Art Garfunkel put out a great album quite some time ago called "Breakaway". There are some teriffic songs on it, done extremely well!
