It looks pretty well done. Can't sound as nice as the real thing, though.Image I'm playing mine right now.

I still have to pay for it. Had to take out a loan, but it's a once in a lifetime thing. Luckily the wife let me do it(surprised the heck out of me!)
The lottery's at $40 mil tonight! Maybe....
It's funny how light everything else feels after playing the double!

Wow... I still say you're lucky.

Heh, my 4001 was hurting my shoulder yesterday. So I just thought about how much a 4080 must weigh. The pain went away after that. Image

I've owned 2 4080's in one lifetime. Unfortunately I sold the better of the two. Of course, back then nobody wanted them. They were ignored just like the 4002 was. Time certainly has a way of changing things. Hey, and the White Sox are poised to win the World Series. Apologies to the Astros fans out there. 88 years are long enough to wait for a win.

Some lucky bugger in Alberta won it all. $54 mil (Canadian)! Still a heck of a lot of money!
I find the 4080 makes my right shoulder ache after about an hour. Doesn't hurt the left one at all. Must be compensating for the weight that does it, & the fact that you have to lean over it a bit to play the guitar neck.
The guy I got mine from said he talked the original owner down to $750 US. He said there wasn't a market for it in Nebraska back in '86 & the guy needed cash fast.
Glad to see Chicago got R done!
