The Krew Kats released a version but called it Samovar, Ventures did a version on an album, those are the only ones that spring to mind. This version only just made the charts peaking at number 38 in UK.

The Spotnicks though still going or at let a form of them, Bo Winberg is to the Spotnicks what Hank Marvin was to the Shadows

To be true, i cannot figure out why it was called "Samovar", it's actually a famous Russian folk song titled "Polyushko-pole"... a strange renaming, indeed... but a nice version.
