Was wondering if after the first sessions at EMI, if they ever recorded anywhwere other than the above mentioned places?? I know there was one time in France for "Can't buy me Love".

Mike: I believe they did a few Beatles recording sessions at Olympic Studios in London in 1968. I think 'Hey Jude' may have been recorded there. And of course they pre-recorded songs for their 'Pop Go The Beatles' series and other radio shows at various BBC studios. I have no resources with me at the moment, so I can't provide songs, dates, etc.

Olympic, Trident, De Lane Lea, Pathe Marconi(France) are others that come to mind...

What did they record at Olympic? I looked at Olympic's website and it's history doesn't mention the Beatles. It does mention the Stones, Clapton, Hendrix etc....

Mike: Olympic was just one of several London studios that the Beatles used whenever time was short and they couldn't get into EMI. Usually they were only adding overdubs and the like. A few complete songs were recorded from time to time. I think 'Hey Jude' was one of them.

Ethan: So you don't haul your 'Sessions' book around with you everywhere you go? I should have picked-up a second copy that I saw in a bargain bin, just to have one at the office...

Yeah - doctor's order actually. On my walks to and from work, I kept tripping over curbs, uneven concrete, bicyclists etc while reading.
