Canadian Rickenfest?

Post by 86kubicki »

Hmmmm... Peter, perhaps it's time to think about a Canadian Rickenfest. We could do it out in your neck of the woods to ensure your attendance Image . I'm sure there would be many forum members from Canada and the north east U.S. who would be interested in meeting the fellow responsible for this forum!

Spring or summer would be fine. Any earlier and we may end up with weather related travel issues. Plus we could check out your 4080 (unless it's been sold for $300.000).

If it happens in Peter's neck of the woods, we're talking New Brunswick! A beautiful province and also home of the world's biggest axe:

My vacation will most likely be in the late summer, but if we're going to have it in N.B. I could make it almost any weekend.

Canada, like the U.S., covers a really large area. It might be more logical to have regional get-togethers, but that depends, of course, on how many Forumites are in a particular area.

If one were to be held in/near Drumheller, it would make me think about finally taking that vacation up north to see the Royal Tyrell [sp?] Museum of Natural History (one of the best dinosaur collections on display in the world).

I can make any fest Ontario eastward. Montreal might be fun too. But T.O. is cool. N.B. is a bit farther, but still weekendable.

Count me in for attendance and any help.
