Buying Rics with PayPal online other than Ebay...

Post by kkm »

I have $2k in my PayPal account that I want to use on a 12 string Ric but i was wondering if there are other places to buy them (safely) online besides Ebay that take PayPal. I am also looking at new Rics too.

Welcome on board, Mike. If you find out anything (either positive or negative) about other PayPal "takers", let us know.

Take it out of your account before Paypal does on some false pretense or other, and happy shopping!

somehow there are suspiciously beaucoup links to
http://www.free-merchant.com/ on that site.
If they presented other alternatives than that single one it wouldn't be as beaucoup suspicious

We accept PayPal and haven't had any problems yet, but I agree with Paul—we never leave money in our PayPal account. The moment we receive an e-mail notification of a sale, we immediately transfer the funds to the JangleBox bank account.

If you get a Paypal ATM card you can use it as a regular Mastercard to make purchases on line.

The site I posted the link to is only one of hundreds. A minority have hidden agendas. I've had friends who were virtually put out of business by Paypal...

I have similar concerns. I use PayPal on occasion, but I never ever leave any money in it.

Interesting. They do direct you to a legitimate card processor. It's my guess that "AOL Members" are being a bit paranoid here...

They have a link to Freemerchant.com, who are brokers for merchant credit card accounts. Not phishing, according to the URL given in the link. But AOL is doing the "safe" thing, I think.
