I played a few of them at the Columbus Confluence and don't feel the urgent need to get one. The ones I played had great action and the acoustic tone is nice. That being said.....a 4005 still is not on my list of "must haves".

I've never had much desire for one, either. They look nice & probably sound great, but there's a lot of other things I'd like first. Plus they're very pricy!

Brian and Ken, I think you will like mine.

Most people don't use the Roto's. I love them on the 4005. (Until the neck buckles anyway).

I have flats on mine. It's just a terrific bass. Not for everyone however...
