They limit you to $400.00 a day on your OWN money? Arrrghghhh....
Most institutions over here place a limit on ATM withdrawals or EFT payments from debit accounts of $1000 per day unless you have a different arrangement with them. Usually no limit on on-line or over-the-counter transactions.
For larger payments (like buying a Rick) I have had to use my credit card (rather than direct deposit) because a lot of traders don't like handing out their bank details to all and sundry. I then go home and do an on-line transfer from my debit account to my credit card. Which is not a credit card per se, as the monthly balance is paid out in full after 55 days - therefore no interest!
I've only used Paypal 3 or 4 times as a buyer (never a seller) and have had no problems. Full credit to my bank, though - they've called me each time to verify the payment.
I've visited the 'paypalwarning' site enough times to know that if I was to sell anything on eBay, Paypal would not be one of the payment options!
