2006 Color of the Year

Post by joeyangel »

Just wanted to know if anyone knew what the new color was going to be that Rickenbacker will be displaying at the NAMM in January?

You mean like Plywood Minnesota Lauan?

Carpetglo! They'll be shag-carpeted.
Wait, tuck and roll, like those old amps.

Those Reverand Rumblefish's are hideous but have a big following for some odd reason.

Non-yellowing white gets my vote!

I personally think the Revs are interesting, not that I'd ever play them. My biggest quibble on appearance is the lower edge of the pickguard.

They are similar in profile to Charvel Surfcasters, which have quite a following, and offset-waist Fenders (Jaguars and Jazzmasters).

But, as usual, Krishna is all about details.
