Go to gbase.com and search for "Rickenbacker", Mike. I was looking this morning and there were quite a few (even Monty Brown!!).

I recently bought one from PM BLues with toasters and the silver tolex case.

It's the little gem in the middle.

Bee-eeyou-tee-full, Todd!! Black and gold is a classic combination - just like the John Player F1 cars of years past!

Best of luck, Mike.....

hey!...thats the one that i want! i already have a jetglo 360/6 but i think the 660's jetglo is different enough that i wont even feel like i have two of the same color guitars. the gold pickgaurd and checkered binding really sets it off.

my other other rick is a 660/6 fireglo that sounds wonderful. i really dig the toaster pickups.

Me too, Mike!! I've got toasters on my 330/6, 660/12, 1997 and 360V64/6 and they all sound brilliant (although the ones on the 360V64 have been 'wound back' to 7.4k - makes them a little 'thinner' than the others). The 330/6 and 1997 really chime! Image

I had considered refinning my 660/12 in Jetglo as that looks awesome with the gold and checker binding.

Only for about half a second, I hope Jeff!!

The Blueboy doesn't grab me as a colour, Mike, but in a 660 I could live with it...........

OK, Just bought the last blueboy 660/12 in stock! I get it next week. Im wasnt a huge fan of the blueboy myself and I was definitely leaning towards the jetgo but the gold pickguard and checkered binding really does look sweet with the light blue. plus i like the fact that its kinda rare.

Congratulations, Mike! That doesn't look too shabby at all. I'm sure it will look great in the flesh, so to speak. Will you be able to post pics for us when he/she arrives?

Wow, Mike, that has got to be one of the prettiest Blueboys I have ever seen, even though I'm not a fan of that color at all.... The gold guards and checkered binding actually make it look pretty good! But then, ANYTHING looks great in checkered binding, LOL! Image

Er...... it wouldn't improve my looks, Melissa - nothing would!!

I hope Mike can post some photos - I'd like to see how glossy the guitar is - looks kinda 'matt' in the pmblues photo.

Aitch, don't be too hard on yourself--if you're playing a Ric your looks improve automatically by at least 50%! Image

I don't like to look in the mirror unless I'm holding a Ric, LOL!
