M.A.R.C. (Fest) added "attraction"..LOL

Post by leftybass »

There are some of you who are coming to Winchester on Friday evening. If you would wish to listen to some live music in the down-time before and after the Fest, the local band I am in (Woodshed) has a gig on Friday and Saturday night and a place called Jimmy's, it's at a Holiday Inn one exit south of where the Fest is being held. The address is 1019 Millwood Pike, Winchester, VA 22602...exit 313 off of I-81. Downbeat is at 9:30PM.

We do stuff like The Police, Rush, Pink Floyd, Clapton, Petty, some Beatles etc..

There's no cover, and it might be better than setting in your hotel room. Of course, you haven't heard us yet, LOL...

OK, Challenge! How about allowing each forumite who shows up to sit in for a tune?

Of course, this could get you kicked out of the band!

That sounds like a great idea! I assume you are providing the backline? Image

John:

Jimmy's sounds like "the place to be" for Forumites after the fest! I'll definitely make the scene!

I hope you guys like the band. I do 99% of the singing and there's only 3 of us. Our guitar player is a PRS and a Strat man, he gets some interesting sounds out of his stuff. Crowds are generally decent in size, sometimes alot and sometimes nothing, but that's show biz..LOL

I would love to be there and play in your trio. Three piece bands are lots of fun to play in.
