Good faker. Wouldn't fool us but I bet it would fool most.

Uh-oh! A Rickenbacker nameplate on a 4001 copy... Someone's bound to get into trouble very soon.
A Rickenbacker bass is much like the Jaguar E car - perennially ultra-fashionable.

eBay has a new system that's quite efficient and vastly speeds up the processing of infringements. They issued us a special account and when we browse, there's an extra button that when clicked automatically generates an infringement affidavit and processes it through their system. It works for all countries and is rather interesting in that it's administered by eBay Switzerland, presumably to take advantage of their unique legal system.

Cool. John, do you, or Kenny, or someone else at RIC patrol eBay, or would you like us to let you know if we see something fishy?

They try to get alot of money for those fakes, even with the bolt on necks.

It's crazy. I can't imagine who'd pay that much for a fake. I paid less than that for my first 4001. That of course was a long time ago.
