Two Conductor Pickup Wire

Post by admin »

I would be interested in knowing what make and gauge of two-conductor wire that others use for pickup wiring.

Do you want the kind with braided shielding on the outside, or two wires inside a plastic covering, or two separate wires?

I am partial to the braided shielding on the outside.

Peter - Check out www.stew-mac.com as I'm pretty sure you can find it there. I've seen it at other places too but will have to look around and report back later.

The guage doesn't really matter for pickups - and you could even use wire meant for the send/return use on Fender amp reverb tanks.
