Trans black over a flame top on two 75th Anniversary models: a 330/12 and an RM 1999 reissue. Both are classic Rics and Trans JG wouldn't be a "new color per se". However, if memory serves we were thinking too small about the Anniversary aspect, so to make the scenerio a perfect one to drive me into bankruptcy, the 330/12 would feature 1 3/4" nut width and both would have back loaded electronics. Yow!

Hmmmm..... "per se"....

This has me thinking of a CURRENT finish....let's say, perhaps.... FIREGLO ?? Maybe we're in for a vintage fireglo look??

The "per se" is setting off all kinds of bells and whistles here...

Per se.... a natural bass that's not maple, therefore it's not mapleglo, yet not a "new" color

I also am hoping for Whiteglo, but then I'd have to order one...so I'm hoping for purple or orange. A Lightshow would also be cause strife in my household.

How about some type of image, pattern or flag? That would be different!

No matter what it is, we won't see it in 2006, unfortunately, except for NAMM.

Ben, I'm just getting sad that it's almost the end of the year and I don't have this year's COY. Don't mind me... Image

I understand the frustration.

We have at least ten times more FG and JG models on backorder so those inevitably get scheduled more.

Rest assured, though. There are Blue Bursts on every production run.

I'm thinking its white. Its not a "new" color since its been offered before and I guess its not really a "color" per se.

I hope its white. If it is, I will order a 4003vp in that color.

Never say never but I doubt we'll ever produce a white guitar again.

Thats disappointing but I think I can console myself w/ that new 75th anniversary model and a 4001V68. ;)

<sigh> So many agendas, so little time...

John/Ben/Kenny ... just so I am clear. The limiting factor for a Blue Burst is that it is ORDERED in 2005, right? That being the case production will continue after the end of 2005 to satisfy all outstanding orders ? Please say this is so !!!
