I'm by no measure an expert, but that asking price sounds quite high. Any one else?

FWIW a new 620/12 from Musician's Friend (not the cheapest place out there) is $1149.99, not sure what the toasters would add, maybe another $100?

That's here in the USA. In Europe, Ricks are much thinner on the ground.

Still, it's about £700 too high for Europe, IMO.

You wouldn't pay anywhere near £1700 for a 620-12 in the UK, even at full asking price! As far as I'm aware, there is no premium on '80's gtrs. £1700 is one hell of a price for a '86 620-12, especially with RT!
'Rickenbacker'...what a name! After all these years, it still thrills me.

Sounds mega expensive to me too. I have a midnight blue lefty one for sale in mint condition for nearly half that price!

1700 British pounds??

that's 2500 euro or 2970 Us dollar.

Even for two of them it'd be on the high side :s

Sorry my mistake. It was £1100 and not 1700.
