My new addition

Post by bosco64 »

I'm a little depressed not being at home to attend the MARC tomorrow, but I picked this little beauty up on Wednesday to ease the pain somewhat (I'm soooo sorry Steve!):

Even though I'm a little down, I still get a smile on my face when I see that picture. It's gonna kill me to wait two weeks before I can play it again!

I'll be back home on the 19th or the 20th, so I will be sure to take some pictures for everyone. I was in the store when the picture was snapped for the website. There was even a couple of shots taken that were called "The Blues Brothers" of a Midnight Blue 4003, a Blue Boy 4003 and my Blue Burst 4003. It should have been uploaded on the website this past week.

Steve, I know that you have been waiting for yours since late January, and the wait must be killing you. I waited over two years for my 4004Cii TG, and as we already know, it was well worth the wait. The finish looks fantastic in person, and I think that (similar to Fireglo) it really is a tough finish to photograph. It doesn't hurt that there's beautiful grain on the front and back of the bass, either. Even my wife loves the color, and she doesn't really like blue! Hang in there Steve, you will be rewarded soon.
