Have a great time!

Just to wish all attending the MARF to have a great time. The UK (UKRF) will happen soon.
'Rickenbacker'...what a name! After all these years, it still thrills me.

For dems dat don't know, that's (left to right) Jeff Rath (he of the famous 425 conversions), Steve Cooper, and me. The occasion was the first "Rick Confluence" around the 20th of July 2004. I had come into the Detroit area to drop off my Cheyenne and Laredo to have Jeff do the vol/vol/tone mods, and also to sell him a very pretty 4003 MGBT, which has moved on subsequently. The three of us went out and had a couple beers and dinner, and talked much of the night. Jeff was kind enough to allow me to camp there on my trip to Buffalo to see my dying Mom. I came back through a couple of days later to pick up the modified basses. I don't know if it was Jeff or I who came up with the term "confluence," but, there it is.

That term is yours, Paul! I only had 2 basses to contribute to that pile, now I have ZERO. Yes, folks, I am currently Rickless. And sad. And jealous. Image
