My 67 4001s says 4000s in the cavity
According to Dale Fortune [and i read the same thing]that the s meant special meaning extra pickup if it said just 4000 it have one pickup somewhere along the line it became a 4001s.
I just checked the pots they appear to be dated 66 unless it was converted in 67 using 66 factory pots its a genuine S "Wow" I always thought it might have been a converted 4000,because the toaster has been replaced,but all pots are factory and dated 66.
