4001CS Neck Adjustment

Post by doubleneck »

I'm sure it's been discussed before but should the 4001cs truss rod adjustment be performed like an older 4001 or a 4003? The main issue is if the neck should be pulled back of forward before turning the truss rod nuts. Or is just turning them alone the proper procedure.

I would think that the CS would have the newer design.

Thanks for the response guys. The reason I asked is because there is a VERY small crack in the finish where 4001's fingerboards usually separate. It seems to only be a finish crack and it's only on the low E side of the neck.
