Mark, we've got 'em all--my hubby and I are both big fans of Rez/Kaiser/GKB.... It's all great stuff! I think it is some of the most underrated music in the Christian recording industry, too....

Melissa and Mark,
All this talk of of Rez, Kaiser, and Darrel Mansfield leads me to realize one important fact: we are getting old. I really wanted to see Petra farewell tour last Tuesday in Boise (out of respect for Bob Hartman), but I was too busy...but my Pastor and a couple of my teachers said it was great. Surrender is great song, we don't use as much as we did in the past, but I will always love it.

Petra....I used to love them when they lived up to their name and ROCKED..... I haven't been able to stomach their new sound--they should have given it up after Hartman left the band! Although the "Jekyll & Hyde" album was kind of a desperate last-ditch attempt to reclaim what had been lost for years....it still seemed like it was missing something, IMO.

Agreed...I loved them when they rocked as well.
Things changed dramatically when Hartman left. I did like their first praise album though "Petra Praise: The Rock Cries Out". They absolutley JAM some praise tunes on that one.

Paul---you're right...we are getting old. But I can honestly sday I am enjoying it immensely!
I'm 43 next month & these are good years!!

Since we're on the subject of Christian bands, does anybody remember Mike Stand, the lead singer for the Altar Boys? I still LOVE his music, especially his solo albums....and he plays Rics on them!

I remember seeing these albums in bookstores back in 90-92 or so... good stuff you say?

I like the Lost Dogs too.

And Third Day.
