I noticed the surround. I thought your fretless had the dual toasters. Is your bridge toaster now resting in a 60's horseshoe surround?

Finally got a half-decent digital photo of me playing the Laredo. Didn't like playing in a dirt pile, but things survived! Image

Yep! Image

Scott,

That is a Quik-Lok GS-430 stand, they also make a 5 and 7 instrument stand. These will hold acoustic guitars also, which is nice as the spacing is wider between the instruments to prevent banging into one another when taking the instrument off it or putting it back on the stand.

www.quiklok.com

Look under the guitar stands link.

How does it hold up for gigging? They look like a good idea & can probably hold doublenecks as well as standard guitars.

Thought a picture wouldn't go amiss, since I'm fairly new around here. Nothing unusual about the bass, although it never fails to impress anyone who sees it for the first time. 10 points if you can guess what one of my bands is a tribute to...

Heh. Yeah, I do the Geddy thing, too. Lotsa fun, but hard to find drummers that can do it.

kevin,

The QL stand is very well made, they make excellent stands. I also have a double instrument stand from them.
