Banba2 anyone?

Post by lowendbob »

Is there a forum member with this Ebay username?

Whoever it is wants the 4001 Autumnglo on Ebay.
I do to, but I don't want to get into a bidding war.

banba2, stand up and I will bow out.
Buy it before someone else does.

Hey Bob,

It's not me but....
That is really neat of you to make that kind of offer!

I didn't realize the forum members did things like that for each other! I guess I haven't spent enough time on this board to get the feel of it yet...

I wish I would have known. A few days ago I asked the forum what they thought a fair price is for this bass would be, and I didn't get a response.
I think I now know why! I guess I'm just a slow learner.

I was going to bid up to $1300.00 but just found out a few days ago the Mrs. purchased me a new RICKENBACKER for Christmas!

It was an accident, I intercepted a phone call I shouldn't have....but she WILL NOT tell me what model she bought! NOT EVEN THE COLOR...I just know it's a Rick Bass! It's going to be a LONG 6 weeks or so!

I didn't think it'd get that kind of reaction.

I hope you get a new 4003.. if they're better than a 4001.. wow! They must be amazing.

I was hoping to get a 4004L or a new 4003 next year... I want one of the new bridges. I love my 4001.. it's just old. It'll be retired before it ever gets to a stage with me. Image

Also.. a 4003 would be a great replacement or backup for your 4001CS.

LOL! I LOVE IT! That is too funny!

I don't know what she did, but I can't wait to find out! Its been 10 years since I had a new Ric.

I guess the grass is always greener....I would REALLY like a 4001 one of these days...I'm getting old, so it would be a great match!

I'll let you know on Dec. 26th! At least the CS will have company soon!

Hey Tony, welcome to the forum, and congrats on the new Ricky! The wait will be worth it.

Brian, I'm out. The price is too high for me.
If may offer some friendly advise. If your going to go for it, I would not place anymore bids until the last minute or so. Looks like a lot of bidders are driving the price up to fast.
Good luck, I hope you snag it. Image

Thats the kind of courtesy we should try to follow its not always easy but I think we make a good effort not to step on toes here after all we basically talk to each other everyday.
