It's never cheesy when you're holding a RickImage
Thanks, Jeff, I'll probably get one of those. I'm always looking for a better stand for stage use.

Scott, it was actually our drummer that started that band, so we were quite lucky. I wouldn't say he plays identical to Neil every time, but he's pretty close. Playing in this band is an absolute blast - I get quite carried away sometimes.

It is a GL Jazz Nate (actually I've got two). I still prefer my 4003 though. I bought the 4003 before I was doing the Rush thing, so just went for my favourite finish. It gets used extensively in my other band too. I probably will get a Jetglo eventually, but the 4080/12 is very definitely at the top of my purchase list - I need it for the other band as well as a couple of Rush things. Just waiting & hoping for one to come up. Someone else does the singing I'm afraid - I could do quite a good Geddy voice about 20 years ago, but not anymore...

John, you're right, that's a Fantom S-88. There's a set of Roland PK5 pedals on the floor and a Supernova II in the rack. The Fantom controls my bass effects as well.
Rickenbackers: 4003 FG, 4080 BG, 4001CS, 4003 DCM, 4080/12 MG, 4003s5 JG, 4004Cii MG.
Others by: Wal, Fender, Warwick & Washburn

Bob.. that Shadow looks nice. I have one too you'll probably miss her. I decided to play mine out on gigs and such instead of storing it. She's turned into a real party girl. Aging Hippy? I'd say "Vintage" LOL

I think it's a Burgundy fretless, if I recall what he brought to SoCalCon.
