DICING WITH THE EMPEROR!

Post by jingle_jangle »

You will recall the guy on eBay who goes by the name of "emperor26". He's the fellow who sells rare guitars and poses them in his backyard with Godzilla toy figures...

Like you, I wondered, "What's up with that?" And dismissed him as just another eBay nut.

Well, last night, cruising through eBay, I came upon a nice old Rose Morris that had just been listed. So I made a bid. Within minutes, the Emperor had picked up the scent and bopped me. So, intent on having some fun, I bopped him back. Within a minute, I was topped again. (This is why I love eSnipe). So this went on a few times to the point that, before the listing was 3 hours old, it was up to about $1600.00 and change, and I went to bed.

When I signed on this morning, there was the outbid notice staring me in the face. So, I look it up, and sure enough, it's our old buddy, emperor26.

Out of curiosity, I look at his "ME" page on the 'Bay:

http://cgi3.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewUserPage&userid=emperor26

And am immediately confronted by pictures of Godzilla and the beginning of a rant about taking back the world from the Zionist bankers, etc.

Then, this link shows up in the text:

http://www.compuserb.com/zionpro1.htm

Yep, it's that old nonsense about the "Protocols of the Elders of Zion", which has been debunked for a half-century at least...

The Godzilla is his symbol for rising up against...well, you get my drift.

Then he talks about peace and love. I think, HUH?

And then realize that what we have here is an anti-Semitic hatemonger who actually uses eBay to spread his nastiness.

So he's not as harmless as we thought, although he certainly IS a NUT.

But--I already knew that. He also includes a link to Gibson's Les Paul marketing page. He believes them to be the BEST GUITAR EVER. So he's a stoopid nut too. Good? Yes. Great? Possibly. Best? NAW...

I wish I had the cash to beat his a** in this auction, just on principle...

If he's of white European descent, he's got a hell of a nerve talking about 'taking back the world' from anybody...

I wish we had his address to beat his a**...or at least leave a burning Les Paul on his front lawn...

Well, we could peacefully abduct his Godzilla collection...

He should be reported to e-bay for promoting anti-semetic messages on his about me page.

He should also be reported to the authorities.

Rather interesting, decided to have a look at the item Paul was talking about and come across this item number: 7365658581, (not sure how to get the short version of the ebay url)

Why is this interesting? because it has the exact information as this one! 7363439772, One from China the other from the UK - something's
smells a little off here!

If the UK one is the item you were bidding for Paul it's now at $10826.00+ Is that a realistic price for one of these, or have emotions taken over in the bidding?

Great, Bob. Thanks for stepping up...

Ron--that's a wild price, especially considering there's still a day and a half left. But what does Graham know that we don't???

I'll watch this one with interest.

With regards to the original point of this thread, I use to think out here in Aus, we were remote enough to be isolated from a lot of this bulldust. But in recent times it's starting to rear its ugly head here. Just last week the police rounded up about 18 people who were apparently planning to blow up something over here. A sad sign of the times - but we can't let it get us down!!

I think I'll pay for a first class seat for the "Emp" on El Al to Tel Aviv. At the end of a pleasant flight, nibbling on Knishes and the like, the "Emp" will disembark, full of polite conversation, and a new understanding of others.

Thereafter, a six month stay at the finest Kibbutz, full of hard work and spiritual enlightenment will fully intergrate him into an understanding and culture of others.

Those that used to frighten him and of which he had no control...

His ignorance and lack of tolerance will be no more....

Or do I change that ticket to somewhere in Montana...

Oh another conspiracy kook..I'd bet he does not have a clue of what the true meaning of Zion is.
Zion refers to a fortress on a high place, with a 360 degree view of the lay of the land. It had a continuing supply of fresh water and was well stocked with food for sustenance should the the inhabitants of the land come under attack. At which point they'd all head for the protection of Zion ,the fortress up on the high place. Anyone remember Dr. Demento? Their coming to take me away ha ha hoe hoe hay hay to the funny farm where>>>> The Emperor lives...
