Thanks Brian. And congratulations to Steve. With so many nice photos there I lost track. These bases are certainly a thing of beauty.
Life, as with music, often requires one to let go of the melody and listen to the rhythm

After seeing the pics posted by Brian, you can certainly see the carving variations between each instrument. As Brian pointed out, the carving on mine is quite different from other examples we've seen.
Bob - could you posts some pics of your 4004LK's carving?
Mr. Hall - if Adam Page was the second carver chronologically, does it make sense that I've just received my 4004LK (carved by Page as you've said), whereas Brian received his last spring when his carver was Richard Seccombe (the fourth and most recent carver)? Is this just a production "quirk"? BTW I'm totally OK if my 4004Lk was carved by someone who went off the deep end!

BTW, if anyone is unhappy with the carvings on thier Lemmy, I do know of someone willing to purchase them. They're willing to pay .50 on the dollar so it doesn't hurt much.
Please e-mail me for my address...I mean the person's address to mail the bass to.
