At Sam Ash:
325c58 with different new knobs?
2005 360/12
New headstock
This was my first time seeing Rickenbacker's other then my own or in pictures so it was pretty great. I love Fireglo in person. Jetglo was also very nice, but it's just black.
So I played the 360/12. Had to tune it of course. Then I noticed the thing with the tuners, I didn't know the inside ones had the normal strings on the bottom side of the headstock, tho it makes lots of sens. The neck was pretty sticky so I had to do my best to wipe it.
First thing I noticed was the string spacing. It's true that it does take a bit to get used to. It's very tight compared to a 6 string. Unfortunately the guitar wasn't setup to my liking, the action was a bit too high.
Other then little things I found the neck a bit big when compared with my 1979 370 but I would expect a big difference between them. It could still tell it was a Rickenbacker neck and it was nice.
Is it possible the pots turn counter clockwise where as on mine it's clockwise to lets say add volume?
I also never realized from pictures that the hi-gains look different. They also sounded weaker but I can't say honestly because it's almost impossible to compare.
Anyways I thought I'd share this.
