That is a great idea, specially to show appreciation to Peter for the great board. I will definitely make an NB fest.

Just a thought though. Most folk from the Windsor-Toronto corridor and our US friends along that area (a lot of unique Rics around there) would more likely make a T.O. location.

How many Rics are even in the area from say Ottawa east, and Maine/NH area (within a 7-9 hour drive say)? I have one at the moment...

I've got three. There's at least three more belonging to forum members in Halifax.
Plus five minus five!

I guess I've been away from the forum too long!!! You can count me in for as far as Toronto ( it'll give me a reason to visit my brother in law!!)
As for the customs, I've been travelling all over the world with my guitar. All you need to do is to register it before you go anywhere. They give you a green card with all the serial numbers of the stuff you're carrying ( video cam, C.D. player, guitar or whatever you want to declare). And it's that easy... and believe me, I've been search every single time because of my line of work!!!
I would love to do the first canadian Ric fest in N.B. though!
Cheers! Image

Um,...haven't rehearsed this thought, but wherever we have it, are we not in a position to pitch in collectively and fly Peter in?

A fine gesture Steve, but if I am in a position to go, I will pay my own way just as everyone else does.

Yikes, Peter, I DO hope you did not take offense here. I should have been a little more visionary and added the motivation is purely an appreciative one. Everyone on this board benefits from your time and work.
Hey at least let me buy you a Tim Horton's Iced Capaccino when we meet.

Steve: No offense was taken whatsoever. It warms my heart when I see gestures of kindness such as yours. I will gladly accept a cup of Tims, though.
