Question for hipshot bridge owners

Chris Brubeck has a '68 (or so) with the same skunk stripe. It's authenticity is clear.
The fill-in around the bridge is maple and doesn't show in this pic. FB was fretless...some one did a so-so job fretting it. Oddly, JH thinks that the wings are not a kind of maple they ever used. It appears to have been built _near_ the same time as the ones with birch wings. Who knows. The internal routing matches that of the early 70's.
It does have some cosmetic features I like and that you could have done by any competent tech, like the bound headstock.
I kind of dropped off this board for a while. Where did the Archives go? I suppose Peter ran out of server space.
