$450 is obscene !!!

C'mon Rickenbacker, make the v63 pickup available as a genuine spare part once more !!!

Agreed.....but if someone wants it bad enough...I have no interest, but I know a lot of you do.
The players are the ones who get jobbed when you can't get the part anymore.

One went for $500 earlier this year. It does come with the surround which is worth something too.

Not defending him, but it's pretty close to the market.

I believe John Hall said that once the first C series basses are out of warranty and when the infringement issues are resolved, the horseshoe will be available as a replacement part. John - please correct me if I'm mis-stating anything here.

Supply and demand, that's all. You might want to check out the going prices for vintage Strat pickups...

Thanks Ilan! You almost made me spit my coffee!

You mean to tell me someone would drop 2 grand on PICKUPS?! I'd buy a V63 and take myself out on half a bender for that kind of money!
What do you mean the Bass is too loud???

and that's 2 grand for pickups that are probably demagnetized and muddy sounding!
