Jackson Browne Siganture Model?

Post by sloop_john_b »

I got the Bacon & Day book today and it showed a picture of a prototype Jackson Browne guitar. What ever became of it?

It's in John Hall's office. (Unless he moved it....)

Well, I actually meant whatever became of the signature series? Why was it nixed?

The deal with Jackson faded away...something to do with...

Oh, never mind.

Probably just as well as Jackson isn't playing much electric guitar these days. His new one is all acoustic, and actually pretty terrific for how these retrospective/"unplugged" things tend to be.

Sorry for the confusing post. By "His new one is all acoustic..." I meant his latest CD, not guitar. It's late...

It would have been painfully ironic if the purchase of the Jackson Browne signature model was the cause of a domestic squabble...

Can we get a photo for those of us with no access to the Bacon/Day book? Thanks.

Please help me understand this comment. I hope it has nothing to do with his first wife's suicide.

John, no scanner, sorry. But it looks like a 650, in Turquoise, with 3 pickups - two toasters and a humbucker in the bridge, a'la the 350SH.

David K...if I'm reading the cynical brotherhood correctly, it may have something to do with why there isn't a Darryl Hannah Signature guitar, either...

It's the stupid things JB did to be 'without' that girl that are the issue...

Hmmm...domestic abuse and the initials JB...some sort of mystical connection there...Jackson and James aren't related, are they?
