"Sold! To someone who REALLY, REALLY wanted limited access to his strings!"

yep ... I just don't see the attraction ... I played a 68 4001 with a real horseshoe for 30 years and I hated that damn cover over the pickup ...

I'll second that. I'll take any of those pieces of **** off your hands (for free of course Image).
I wouldn't dream of taking the shoe off my V63!

You think $2,000.00 is bad? Try a set of double white PAF's. You'ld have to sell your car.
They're roughly $15,000.00 now.

Yeesh. I sold a pair of '65 Jazz pups a couple years ago. I don't remember what I sold them for, but I have a feeling I don't want to remember....

I picked up a brand new reissue surround and both pick ups, but not the horseshoes last month, for a third of that.

Seeing these prices, it must make RIC want to get these back onto the marker ASAP. At this rate, they could easily sell everyone they make it seems....

The funny thing about those Gibson PAFs is that if you were to buy them installed in the guitar they originally came in, they would probably ask the exact same price.

Pretty good guess on the $$$'s for the PAF's, huh?

Now, I just wish I had some. In a nice little burst, thank you.
