This 4001S and 4003S/5 are bit similar except that the S/5 is slimmed down a bit. I 've been cleaning up the 4001S. The old strings had to go. This bass was already refinned. A lousy job, but it looks cool anyway. That's why I was thinking about refinishing it. It could use some new frets also.

I prefer "Da Blue Beast" to the 4001s. The black and blue is cool.. plus it's a 5'er.. I miss having a 5'er.
