New to the Forum

Post by jbpklp »

Bob Scott has already posted a front pic of my 4002, here is one of the back, I never realized that a 4002 would stir up so much excitement. This the first and only Bass I have owned and bought it new in 78 after seeing Giddy Lee play one in Dallas.

Your guitar was manufactured in October of 1977

Very nice!!! I remember wishing mine had been Mapleglo but then it was fretless and and I had to buy. Walnut(glo) kicks *ss too! Welcome! How much was it new in 1978 (if you don't mind).
It looks great for it's age.

He toured with it for a few years but it was rarely used on stage. I remember him saying in GP mag that the 4002 was too pretty to take on tour.

I wish there was a pic of him playing it on stage.. I've seen a pic of him with the 3001 on stage.. but a 4002 would kick ***.
