Happy (belated for you now) Birthday Aitch! Just logged in and found all the archives already! As Bill mentioned, it is still the 23rd here in Canada, so you are younger here than you are there. So lets have no more 104s ok?

Hope your day was great and your recovery short.

A belated Happy Birthday, Aitch. I'll hoist one in your honor tonight (where it's still Oct. 23).

Howard, Happy Birthday to you, albeit belated by now! I somehow knew that day was somehow more special than I thought, but didn't know how or why.

At first I attributed the feeling to the fact that my wife and I went on an overnight trip, ate dinner at a great micro brewpub (along with a few beers), and then went to see Paul McCartney and his band.

Then I get back home to see it was your birthday and finally it came to me - unknowingly, I was celebrating more than a great concert! ;-)

Diffs between you, me, and Sir Paul:

Hair - You both still have some. Yours is grey, Paul dyes his, and what's left of mine is going grey - bottom line is that mine's been gone a long time and you two still have some...

Ages - You're both older than me, but we're all geezers...

Ricks - Paul has at least one but didn't use it Saturday night (no surprise to me); I've only got one; and you've bought about a million this year alone - so major points go to you. ;-)

Hope you had a good one and many more to ya!

Steve

Thank you all once again for your birthday wishes. Greetings from sunny Sydney, where it's a gorgeous 27C. Sunday is now but a distant blur but your words are all still with me - you are all very kind indeed!

Now I'm looking forward very much to our Melbourne Rickenbacker Mini-Confluence this coming Sunday - should be a great day. Image

G'day, Mitch. There will be at least three of us - Darren Trott, Greg Rahilly and myself. Darren and Greg may have another one or two lined up, but I'm not sure. What I am sure about is that there will be over 20 Rick guitars and basses there!!
